As tensions in Virginia continue to reach fever pitch over the newly elected Democrat state government’s plans to introduce gun control measures, Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, who confessed to wearing either blackface or Ku Klux Klan robes last year, has declared an emergency and banned all guns from the area outside the Virginia capitol in advance of a pro-gun rally being held Monday.

Suggesting that the violence may be comparable to that of the infamous Charlottesville Unite The Right rally in 2017, in which no gun violence occurred and one young woman lost her life due to a heart attack, Northam declared a state of emergency that allows him to ban weapons, including guns, from the Capitol grounds.

In his Wednesday news conference, Northam said “We have received credible intelligence from our law enforcement agencies of threats of violence surrounding the demonstration planned for Monday.”

He added, “This includes extremist rhetoric similar to what has been seen before major incidents, such as Charlottesville in 2017.”

Gov. to ban guns from Virginia Capitol grounds

BREAKING: Virginia Governor Ralph Northam is set to announce a temporary emergency — banning all weapons, including guns, from Capitol Square ahead of Monday's massive gun right rally.

Northam claims these threats include suggestions of “storming” the Capitol.

“Based on these threats, I am declaring a state of emergency in Richmond from Friday evening until Tuesday evening,” said Northam.

“This will include a ban on weapons of any kind in Capitol Square during that time.”

He added, “These are legitimate, real threats and we are taking them seriously.”

Virginia Democrats were recently caught on video insulting supporters of the Second Amendment, calling them “crazy,” “gun nuts,” and “little kids.”

National File reported:

As a meeting broadcast on the state legislature’s live feed appeared to adjourn, Marsden can be heard asking Filler-Corn if she will be attending a later meeting, presumably focused on the New York-style gun control and confiscation bills Democrats plan to vote on later this week.

“Are you going to stick around for the 10 o’clock gun nuts?” Marsden is overheard asking Filler-Corn.

“These people are crazy!,” she replied.

As if that wasn’t enough, Marsden kept the conversation going, telling Filler-Corn that gun owners are “just like little kids,” as Filler-Corn asked him whether or not he thought the constituents would “stay calm.”

“Yeah as long as we don’t respond to them,” Marsden replied.

“We will get through this!”

Northam was famously exposed last year by National File Senior Reporter Patrick Howley, who uncovered yearbook photos of Northam wearing either blackface or Ku Klux Klan robes.

Northam admitted to wearing shoe polish on his face in a separate incident, and was nearly goaded into performing the Moon Walk during a press conference.
